Rachel, a learning specialist for over 17 years, received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. After spending a year abroad, Rachel moved to New York City where she received her masters degree in Curriculum & Teaching, Elementary Education, from Columbia University Teachers College. Following Columbia, Rachel pursued a teaching certification from CUNY Hunter College in Special Education - Learning Disabilities. Rachel holds a permanent teaching certification from the State of New York. Currently Rachel teaches twice a week, tutors multiple students from elementary school through college, and finds great pleasure in organizing and creating a process for complicated tasks.
