Rachel Stein, a learning specialist for over 25 years, received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. After spending a year abroad, Rachel moved to New York City where she received her masters degree in Curriculum & Teaching, Elementary Education, from Columbia University Teachers College. Following Columbia, Rachel pursued a teaching certification from CUNY Hunter College in Special Education - Learning Disabilities. Rachel holds a permanent teaching certification from the State of New York. Currently Rachel teaches executive functioning and study skills to upper schoolers. She also tutors students from elementary school through college. She finds great pleasure in organizing and creating processes for complicated tasks.
